    The benefits at a glance

Soularise contains intentionally extracted compounds from the mushrooms below.

    Cordyceps

The Cordyceps fungus in our tincture is C. militaris, and it looks like a miniature orange club. Would it make a suitable pixie war club? Probably not. It has, however, been associated with improved energy, endurance, stamina, and immune function.

    Lion’s Mane

Lion's Mane, an odd looking mushroom in the genus Hercium, is primarily associated with improved focus, mental clarity, memory performance, and a balanced mood.

    Turkey Tail

Turkey Tail, or Tremetes versicolor (among other names), is a widely-examined mushroom in therapeutics. It contains powerful compounds believed to have anti-cancer properties, immunomodulatory effects, and antioxidant properties. To boot, it can also make you poop (it's reported to improve digestive health).

    How to use it!

Take 1 serving (1mL) in the morning, alongside your start-of-day routine.

The compounds in Soularise can be potent for some and less so for others, so finding out what works for you is important. We recommend you start with the above daily dosage, and then vary as necessary from there

There is a break-in period with Soularise, too. This means their effects are most noticed after consistent use. With this, you can also expect an adjustment period for your body - you may be sensitive to compounds in mushrooms (be they fresh or extracted), so easing yourself into the supplementation process is a great idea.

    The functional compounds and more!

    Cordyceps

Cordyceps produces Cordycepin, a bioactive compound that comes with a host of reported benefits that include immunomodulation, anti-inflammatory properties, increased energy, stamina, and endurance.

    Lion’s Mane

Lion’s Mane is most known for it’s erinacines and hericenones, two bioactive compounds produced exclusively by this funny fungus. These compounds have demonstrated neurotropic and neuroprotective effects, as they can easily pass through the blood-brain barrier. Both erinacines and hericenones have induced nerve growth factor (NGF) synthesis, both in vitro and in vivo, suggesting their ability to increase cognitive funciton. In addition to these neurotropic effects, Lion’s Mane exhibits antioxidative, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, immunostimulant, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, hypolipidemic, and antihyperglycemic properties. However, its mostly used for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive impairment.

    Turkey Tail

Turkey tail contains two important types of polysaccharides called polysaccharide peptide (PSP) and polysaccharide krestin (PSK).
PSP and PSK are immunomodulators, with a mixture of in-vivo, in vitro, and clinical trials indicating antitumor, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral effects. It can increase the cell wall secretion and expression of cytokines, which are proteins that affect the behavior of the immune system. In other words, they regulate immune response to disease, which can have beneficial effects in the treatment of cancer.

    Week One: Re-learning to breathe

The first week of the Wellness Log focuses on basic concepts of mindfulness, particularly the breath. We shift from deep belly breathing in early life to shallower lung breathing as we age, which affects our mental and physiological state. By mindfully returning to a deeper, diaphragmatic form of breathing, we can improve our physiological and mental well-being. This practice, central to mindfulness and meditation, helps achieve equilibrium and is a suitable starting point for your mindfulness journey.

    See Week One: Breathe

    Week 2: Creating safety

An exercise in shifting awareness between the internal and external to create moments of safety.

    See Week Two: Creating safety

    Week 3: Observing thoughts

A simple observation of your thoughts, without judgement. What are their characteristics? Do they have a speed, or a motion? Where are they in your body? Do they have a sound?

    See Week Three: Observing Thoughts

    Week 4: Focusing attention

An exercise in shedding thoughts and focusing on the breath. People often get frustrated with the practice of letting go of thoughts and coming back to the breath. They think the “goal" is to stay focused on the breath and achieve a deep state of relaxation with no thoughts. Then they take on an attitude of frustration or failure when that doesn’t happen, like they are doing it wrong or it doesn’t work for them.

A quiet mind and deep relaxation are certainly benefits of mindfulness meditation that come over time. But there is also a great benefit that comes from letting go of that most compelling thought or emotion as soon as you notice it and bringing your awareness back to your breath with kindness and no judgment toward yourself.

    See Week Four: Focusing Attention.

With our extracts, you can expect...

    Fruit Body Only

No fillers or myceliated grains here! We only use mushroom fruit bodies in our extracts, most of which we grow in our vertically integrated farm. In rare situations, we source from other US based farms or from licensed foragers in the wonderful state of Michigan.
