• Reishi for Relaxation

Reishi derived compounds have been used promote relaxation and tranquility for generations.

  • Blood sugar, heart health, and more.

Compounds derived from Reishi may balance blood sugar levels, help regulate insulin production, and modulate the production of enzymes in the body that break down simple sugars.

  • The power of the system.

The benefits of the medicinal compounds in mushrooms like Reishi are evident from the perspective of the whole body and it's interconnectedness.

Reishi and Relaxation

Known as the “Mushroom of Immortality,” Reishi has been historically used to promote relaxation and support the immune system. A variety of studies and clinical trials have explored the hypnotic, or tranquilizing, effects of Reishi extract in humans, suggesting its potential in promoting sleep and relaxation. More recent studies have also shown that extracts from the Reishi mushroom can help the body better respond to stress.

Reishi and Immunity

Certain mushrooms, like Reishi, have peptides and proteins that do wonders for our cardiovascular health and immune system. Peptides can improve blood flow to our muscles, increasing oxygen supply and nutrient availability. They also give our liver a helping hand, making sure it's working at its best to keep our blood clean and oxygenated. Adenosine, a compound also found in Reishi, helps improve blood circulation by regulating blood viscosity. This means more oxygen can reach our muscles more efficiently, increasing energy and reducing fatigue.

'Holistic' medicine

The value of these natural medicines can be seen in their holistic effect: by strengthening fundamental metabolic and immunological processes (such as improving the efficiency of the antioxidant system), they also improve all that comes after, like reductions in inflammation and fatigue. Hopefully, there will be a reckoning in the problem-solution paradigm that seems to be plaguing western medicine - it must involve the incorporation of techniques, diets, and medicines that support the whole.
